Discussion:
Annoying opera rendering issue

hi everyone,

I'm making a web page for hosting images, the images will be displayed in a
table (because let's face it, that's the easiest and most practical way to
do such things). We plan to display a number of images on one row, together
with a caption above the image and a comment below it. The table cells are
specially tailored so that the're exactly the same size. However, in opera
every first cell of the row is hugely magnified, which is extremely
annoying, doubly so since it renders fine in both internet explorer and
firefox.

If you're not following anymore, just take a look:

We've tried setting values for the table and for the individual cells in CSS
and HTML, but opera seems to ignore it.

Can anyone shed some light on this?

Thanks in advance.
