Opera Search.ini Editor 1.23 (AKA Opsed) is ready for download:
http://operapl.prv.pl/en/

New in this version:
- Opera 8 support.
- Added option to force the search.ini file version number saved by Opsed.

The latter one was added mainly because I've decided to discontinue Opsed
development.

Sorry to hear that - it's a wonderful tool. That said, it's already
excellent so I can see that there isn't much you could add to it!

Thanks for your great work with this software!

That is sad news. I have no idea how many actually use OpSed but
I've recommended it to many over the years and the response is
always anywhere from pleased to ecstatic. <G> A valuable and
appreciated tool.

Perhaps you will re-consider in the future if circumstances or
Opera change. Otherwise I do hope that you will consider turning
over the code to a trustworthy maintainer or possibly Open Source
it.

Must agree. The best utilities are the ones that carry out their
function with fuss & OpSed is clearly one of them. It would be nice if
it had a continuing future but, from all its users - a big thank you.

Thanks to all for the positive feedback. :)
Of course if future Opera versions will require some Opsed fixes, I will
try to apply them as I did this time.
I did not touch the source code since February 2004 (there was only a
minor fix in July). Since Opsed was frozen for quite a long time, I've
just announced something which actually was a fact for quite a long time.
;)

You have done a great job on Opsed. It is an extremely useful little
utility.

Thanks for developing it!
