About the W3-dev menu:

The W3-dev Menu is an Opera 7 customisation for web developers,
providing handy shortcuts to validate and check their pages and some
useful links to web standards and tutorials.

About version 1.30:

Once again, Team Opera go and change their menus. This updated
W3dev-menu works with the new 7.60 menu structure and adds a few new
features — extra page sizes, an improved Quirks Mode detector and an
improved pagebar pop-up menu. Support for Opera versions prior to 7.50
has been dropped. This menu may or may not work with Opera
7.0x/7.1x/7.2x.

Get it while it's still fresh...

True, but IME they don't seem to change the menus much without
incrementing the first digit after the decimal point in the vesion
number.

On previews they do. The menus in 7.60 P1 were just like in 7.54. Once
they get to a beta, then it's fairly stable.

At the very least, they've said the final will have an optional Window
menu (as in, enclosed in a Feature entry, like the Messages menu is
already). That'll probably even be in the next version, whatever they call
it (as in, P3 or B1), installing your current version will disable this
optional menu. So, you'll need to update with the next version.
